Welcome to Skilleva. These Terms of Service explain the rules for using our platform, accessing our courses, booking expert consultations, and using our services. By creating an account, purchasing a course, booking a consultation, or otherwise using Skilleva, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

Skilleva is a digital learning platform that provides practical, self-paced courses, educational resources, certificate verification, and expert consultation services.

Throughout these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “Skilleva” refer to the operators of the Skilleva platform.

2. Using Skilleva

You must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use Skilleva.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • Keep your account information up to date.
  • Use the platform only for lawful purposes.
  • Comply with these Terms while using our services.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Accounts are personal and may not be shared.

If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, please notify us immediately.

4. Courses

Skilleva provides self-paced digital learning courses.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Course access is granted after successful payment.
  • Courses are licensed for your personal use only.
  • Course content may be updated periodically to improve quality and maintain relevance.
  • Course access may not be shared, transferred, or resold.

5. Expert Consultations

Skilleva may offer one-on-one consultations with instructors or subject matter experts.

Consultations are intended for educational and professional guidance only and do not constitute legal, financial, tax, accounting, medical, or other regulated professional advice.

Consultation bookings are subject to availability and may be rescheduled when necessary.

6. Payments and Pricing

Prices are displayed in the applicable currency and are processed securely through trusted third-party payment providers.

Depending on your location, payment options may include:

  • Paystack
  • M-Pesa
  • Other supported payment providers

We do not store your complete card details or payment PINs.

Prices, promotions, and discounts may change without notice. However, changes will not affect purchases already completed.

7. Certificates

Learners who successfully meet the completion requirements of eligible courses may receive a Certificate of Completion.

Skilleva certificates demonstrate successful completion of a course but are not government-issued, nationally accredited, or professional licensing qualifications, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Certificate verification is available through our public verification page.

8. Acceptable Use

Course materials are provided for your personal learning.

You may not:

  • Share your account.
  • Copy or redistribute course materials.
  • Record or reproduce course videos.
  • Resell or commercially distribute our content.
  • Attempt to bypass platform security.
  • Upload malicious software or harmful content.
  • Use the platform for unlawful activities.

Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund where appropriate.

9. Our Content

All content available on Skilleva, including:

  • Courses
  • Videos
  • Documents
  • Templates
  • Graphics
  • Logos
  • Website content
  • Learning materials
  • Software
  • Branding

is owned by or licensed to Skilleva and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Purchasing a course grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and learn from the content. It does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property.

10. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service.

Please review the Refund Policy before purchasing any course or consultation.

11. Availability and Changes

We strive to keep Skilleva available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

From time to time, we may:

  • Improve platform features.
  • Update courses.
  • Modify services.
  • Introduce new functionality.
  • Remove outdated content.

We may also update these Terms. Continued use of Skilleva after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. No Employment or Income Guarantee

Skilleva provides educational content designed to help learners develop practical digital skills.

We do not guarantee:

  • Employment
  • Freelance contracts
  • Business success
  • Income
  • Promotions
  • Specific career outcomes

Your results depend on your individual effort, experience, market conditions, and other factors beyond our control.

13. Limitation of Liability

Skilleva is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skilleva shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the platform or services.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Skilleva shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
